Digital print closes the gap with litho quality
We have just replaced our four-year-old Konica Minolta 6501 with a new digital machine - the Kodak NexPressBLM7774F. We dipped our toes in the digital waters with the Konica Minolta but now want to push our digital service to the next level by closing the quality gap with litho.
The S300 Digital Colour Press offers unparalleled quality digital print. Our NexPress has been upgraded with the latest components used in the SX model and is designed to print on the widest range of substrates – over 500 are supported. It can print on coated, uncoated, and can handle a variety of sizes, and heavy board weights up to 400gsm.You can read more about our new press in Print Week.
One of the most exciting elements of the NexPress is the Fifth Imaging Unit –
- unique, tactile dimensional printing make communications stand out from the crowd
- the matt finish option effect rivals litho
- clear dry ink is a cost effective way to include spot UV or a watermark effect
- accurate Pantone and custom colours ensure brand consistency is met
And we can now offer digital print on significantly larger sheet sizes - up to 660mm x 320mm for general print, (max image area 648mm x 312mm). As one of only 3 printers in the UK we can produce bespoke print up to 914mm (36 inches) long for those attention grabbing pieces.
We all know personalised print works - it catches the eye of the reader. You can utilise the variable data ability the NexPress offers for a more targeted approach to direct mail. Get in touch and we will happily give you a demo.
You can probably tell we are excited about our new addition. We know the NexPress will give you greater flexibility and choice when printing digitally.
